This blog is now the place where I will share images about my home 'renovation' journey - basically all cosmetic re-do...but this will avoid clogging my art blog with the home pics. As always, my art can be seen on my website:, and also on my art blog: I may also include a few other ramblings as the mood strikes.

A Summer beauty

This gorgeous thing is one of many that inhabit our pond area every year.

the Tea by The Sea corner...

This is the 'tea room' corner of our garden sanctuary, under an old apple tree (at least 60 years old, probably more). I took this pic from under the grape arbor of our deck. Our wisteria arbor hides the leaves of the apple tree in this view. I painted the old house windows I had hung on the fence years ago, with a seascape, to help me think *ocean* favorite place to relax, dream, think, while just walking along the sandy beach of the central coast of Oregon. There are more pics in the *garden* album of my website.

The whole book. I did the covers, spine, and inside first spread. All beeswax collage, except the rebound spine, which was done with colored papers and PVA glue. Posted by Picasa

I've finished the outer covers and spine of my beeswax board book. this was in a RR with 5 other women this past winter...I had fun finishing it today. Posted by Picasa
